One of the main benefits of vacationing in Gran Canaria is the gorgeous beaches-and the abundance of them. Virtually anywhere you go on the island you can find a beach to relax, tan or swim at, but what are the best ones to visit?
If you want to know more about what Gran Canaria beaches are the best for you make sure you read on right now.
San Augustin – This is one of the quieter and more relaxing beaches on the island and it is located on the South East coast. This isn’t just a great tourist attraction for people who want a quieter beach to lounge around at, it’s also popular with locals (that’s how you know it’s good!)
Puerto Rico – Although this is one of the busier Gran Canaria beaches it’s also got a lot more to offer than the rest. You can go jet skiing here, diving, sailing and many other great water activities on this densely packed beach. An added advantage of going to this beach is that there are close by attractions like a water park and shopping center.
Las Canteras – Another terrific one of the Gran Canaria beaches Las Canteras is an excellent location for people tourists who want a larger beach with more “leg room.” Due to the long length of the shore you can bathe and lounge very easily in this beach making it great for families with young children. Very gentle waves come regularly into the beach making for a very relaxing experience.
